This picture is from the Yee Peng festival in Thailand. I loved this shot because of it's the moment of letting go. The lantern is just about to leave their figure tips and you can still see a cluster of lanterns in the sky above them. To me, they look like man-made stars. Even though on the streets it was crazy, all I had to do was look up. Every time I looked up a peacefulness would set in among the craziness. So I thought a should share this experience and see if it could hit home for anyone else. Remember to look up when it feels like your world is crashing in. Remember to look at who or what brings you peace, joy, and love. Let that center you.
