Under the Supertrees

While in Singapore we got to spend time taking pictures at Gardens by the Bay. This is one of my favorite pictures that we got while under the Supertrees. I like that it's a bit abstract and it takes a second or two to figure out what's going on. To capture the image I was laying down flat on the ground trying to not get trampled with my camera mounted to a tripod. I had to take about ten shots to get the right exposure and to time it so people wouldn't be walking through the image. After bringing it in photoshop I knew I needed it in black and white. This is the first picture I printed out from our trip and already got it on the wall!

Here are the settings I used to get it if you are curious. f/7.1, a 2.50-second exposure, ISO 100, and hit the focal length 26 mm.

Do any of you have a crazy or funny story about capturing a picture? I want to hear them if you do. :)
