Release

Here is another picture of another person taking the time to do some self-care. If you don't know, to release these lanterns is a symbol for releasing ills and misfortunes from the past year. I love how the Yee Peng event really pulled people into their own little worlds. There were hundreds of people around but when it came time to release the lantern they just took it in. It was all about taking a second and figuring out what has been so heavy on their hearts the past year. And Then people would just let it go. Most of the people I observed seemed to have this lightness about them once the lantern was released. That includes me too that's why I have only one or two pictures of my wife with our lantern. Then I put down the camera to experience it not just observe it.
