Journey

Turning 30 for me was extremely weird, to say the least. I know a lot of people older than me that will say, "I wish I was thirty again." However, I know it was the same story for them when they hit it. I had no idea what 30 was going to bring me and I was pretty bummed. But, just in the last year, I have traveled across the world 3 times with my amazing wife. I've seen beautiful sunsets in the Philippines, played with elephants in Thailand, traveled across Bali on a motorbike. I never thought any of that would be part of my Journey. That brings me to this picture. I captured this picture in Krabi, Thailand. It's of a man steering his boat against the sunset. It's a strong reminder to me of the Journey. I just need to point ahead and keep moving forward one foot in front of the other. Conquer one obstacle at a time. I'm really excited to see what else awaits me and my family this next year.
